and then the rightful goblin showed up thanking the humans for looking after his thread, "...you did wonderfully I feel, you all merit being promoted up a rank..." said the goblin then borrowing the words of Groucho Marx "..."I should actually worry about any site that accepts me amongst its ranks"..."

the goblin felt that mars bar's undercover work at the Matrix Dancing club was getting close to uncovering their big secret as she managed to take a video of the ring leaders, how she was coy, she actually had them all fooled into thinking that she was one of them too, and the goblin had to admit she seemed perfect at it

which was at the very moment that the now slightly drunk goblin swam onto the scene not only the prove to the world the wondrous effect of a great dry Swiss white but also to take the last post in the process, simply he felt his mind to be happily floating while somewhere around him swam this great white with its sharp teeth focused on dinner but, no doubt, the goblin would be spat out with the hangover in the morning, not even a great white could keep down the goblin for long it seems, just too much to stomach

Unfortunately the goblin would be chewed to pieces by then.

the goblin could probably come up with the most credible of arguments as to why the goblin posted here when everyone would just laugh knowing the truth so the goblin just confessed it "...actually I can't resist thinking up a reply, and then adding a picture to make it look cool..."

the goblin welcomed the poster again to a seemingly normal site with average members, perhaps guessing that somehow she too had realized that something was amiss here, that they were, all to a man, KGB agents just practicing to be humdrum housewives, "...yes, your asking yourself how in your heart you knew this all along, that is how when comrade admin appealed to her fellow proletariat members to rally up against the constraints of capitalism, you couldn't buy into the hidden Bolshevik ideology here..." said the goblin pausing for the exact words again, he continued "...no, like me, you didn't fall for it because their deception was in a way just too perfect to be real so it had to false then...", "...brilliant Holmes..." came the voice in the background as the goblin's three pipe solution was once more pressed into his pipe "...elementary my dear fellow, no one can post on this site longer than three weeks without going mad, and the rest was just a simple deduction from there then..." the solution smoldered away in the goblin mind

the goblin liked the pictures, saying "...interesting moment in my writing then, I have both 38 pages of matched stuff, and 37 pages of unmatched stuff, about 1300 posts, of which I am adding new texts to the unmatched thread daily, and to which, once I have found a matching pictures that is, I am then transferring the posts from the "unmatched" thread those posts I feel to be done to the "matched" one, but the problem with this process is that photobucket is just so large that each search seemed to turn up millions of irrelevant pictures, so it is often easier for me just to take someone else's posted picture and use it for my own sake, oh yes "goblins are not to be trusted" we know by now...", and then turning round, the goblin looked out across the compacted city of Geneva, where its reassuring constant sameness under this morning's shadow of gathering rain clouds seemed to push the goblin on, the goblin sipped his coffee and then returned to his thoughts here, adding "...no, no one is pushing me in fact, I, like anyone whosoever, who posts on these threads, could just stop at any moment, or die for that matter, but I wonder if could I really face the fact of seeing myself looking back at this point from either my future old age, or from beyond for that matter, just knowing that that it was my "dailylife" and not me that had actually won on this day...", and with that the goblin hit the "post" button here with a vengeance like a beat of a dancer's drum, adding "...the beat of ones drum is like the beat of ones heart, it proves to me at least that "dailylife" doesn't have it all its own way then..."

repost from a "last post" thread, elsewhere
Fleaman, how many words does it take to say, ... "I'm last"?
"...to others, only a simple "I win" or a few words would suffice , but to oneself I wonder if there are ever enough words, or enough time in this life to really win big, and I want to win big I know..." ventured the goblin knowing that it was what one puts into ones own posts that one wins out of them then, at which point the goblin added "...the question is not if you win here, since you win each time you post, and that is with anything you post too, and you are a persona, that is "a mask" since no one really knows who you really are either, so once you know that you are anonymous, winning against others who are anonymous too, and that you have won regardless, so what is the question that follows on from there I wonder, perhaps "how to win" then..." but it was an idea that the goblin never pushed onto others here, only that others, if they wanted to know what the goblin was about, would know now

meanwhile, back at CIA headquarters agent Joe is carefully monitoring  Al Qaida's secret website at his desk, he thinks "...where's mac with my coffee then..." as he starts reading through the new posts for subliminal messages, reads: "infidel, may a thousand scorpions sit on your bum, your goblin days are numbered, this is my "last post" thread, it is written", then agent Joe looks up at agent McCoy who has come with his coffee, says "...you take over mac, I'm beat, I need a break..." turning to the second screen with showing the CIA site, he sips his coffee, feels better, clicks "new posts" and writes: "listen goblin, there's no way this thread is yours buddy", somehow the goblin is always supportive, he just likes sending people up he felt

( the goblin would just like to thank the members of this forum for their generosity towards him, saying "...thank you vacating this "last post" thread then...", and with that the goblin posted his next)

the goblin always thanked the posters for their score keeping assumptions but for the goblin the score was always going to be "this one present last post itself with everything else past", but then the goblin added "...ah but at any moment it could be yours if you post..." ventured the goblin winning again but knowing that he would lose to the next poster "...the fact that one lives against ones death gives this life its depth, the fact that one posts against ones silence gives this Internet its depth too, both are futile though..."

Valentine's day, love plays little part in the goblin's life these days, more perhaps that the line between it and duty have blurred to the point where he can say yes I love someone or something but that is not anything like the love he knew once where being in love was an all engulfing fire from within, "...I love my family, and would die for them, I love work knowing that I will work till they no longer need me, I love the virtual reality and the growth of the inner self it offers here, yes but all this and everything else is being in control as an adult or at least as someone of my age should be.." the goblin paused "...uncontrolled love was me a long time ago then..."
