Nope. They came & replaced it a few years ago. The same company did the home theater installation and I need something checked on that too, so they can do it all in one visit.

(BTW, no sexism intended by saying "mens work" - I know there are women who are good at this stuff, like there are men who can sew, etc. It's just that to ME, it's mens work.)

Yeah, it's sexist to say "men's work" and "women's work"..

But if it works for you..and makes it easier to pick up the phone and call your alarm company, then so be it.

Almost nothing is strictly men's or women's work..except maybe self mammography and ball scratching.

I know it's sexist, and I don't really think that way in generalities, only in specifics, about how I personally feel about things in my own life, not "the way the world should be".

As is your right..but by doing that...doesn't it make some tasks almost "undoable"..because of how you classify them?

I mean, I KNOW you are fully capable of pulling two low voltage wires off of a couple of terminals and plug them into another battery, but you have yourself virtually convinced the world will end as you know it if you should attempt that particular task which is "mens work"...

Oy Vey, let it go already. I've done that kind of stuff in the past. I do EVERYTHING. And I'm sick of it. I.
Just.
Can't.
Do.
It.
All.
Anymore.

There's no such thing as "I can't". There's only "I won't".
