Friday, I had an abcessed tooth pulled.....I became deathly sick after wards.   Severe stomach pains, fever, just severe pain all over.

Wow! Hope you are feeling much better now! Fevers do very weird things.

They gave you general anesthesia, didn't they?

I got all 4 done at once, under local. I could have driven home.

Skylla, you poor thing!!!!

I'm incredibly lucky with my teeth. I have no cavities - I had a couple of spots that looked like thy were about to become cavities, many years ago, so they were drilled & filled (I doubt that would have been done today.) But I've never had a "real" cavity. I had a problem with one wisdom tooth hurting and I chose to have it pulled rather than messed with. It was excruciating for a day or two before it got pulled. I'm prone to gum disease so I floss a lot, but the choppers are in good shape!

You are very, very lucky....I always had perfect white teeth until I became pregnant at 45, then my teeth started falling apart.....seems like most of my medical problems started when I got pregnant later in life.....although the pregnancy probably had nothing to do with it.
It may have - your hormones go all out of whack during pregnancy, and that affects everything. When I was on the pill, I had more problems with my gums - the unnatural estrogen balance caused by the pill does something weird.

Wow!!  What an awful reaction you had!  I'm glad you are starting to feel a little better.
