I have worked for my attorney for almost 8 years now.  I do many things for him (he is 57, single and has never been married)... I make sure he has enough food in his fridge to last him through the weekend, I set up golf days for him... in general... I make sure this guy is enjoying life... because if I didn't he would turn into a hermit... he really doesn't like people very much and the more recluse I allow him to be... the worse of a mood he is in after he has attended a luncheon.

so... I get an invitation in the mail which I am calendaring for him... that indicates Garden Attire... what in the hell is Garden Attire?

does he wear a stupid hat and overalls?

don't goggle... I'd like to see what your ideas are off the top of your heads.

Big straw hat, corn cob pipe, overalls, and big old worn out sneakers.

Here's something to get you started

now that we have gotten all the silliness out of our systems...

I would think that a short sleeve sporty dress shirt with slacks would be appropriate.

I told him to go to Tommy Bahamas and buy a tropical casual dress outfit for the occasion... he looked at me like I had lost my damn mind.

men don't understand the joy of buying a new outfit to wear.

Don't forget baggy shorts with big pockets that show off his "package".

lol - I forgot about this thread.

He went... and everyone was wearing Tommy Bahama shirts.  I told him "that's why I make the big $$$"

he laughed.
