PostSmile Free lets you add animated emoticons and canned sayings to your e-mail, instant messages, and blog posts. This easy-to-use program presents your options in a tabbed interface. You click and drag to insert a smiley face, and just click to plug in a famous quote or proverb. This free version gives you access to three collections of animated smiley faces, plus more quotes, proverbs, and jokes than you'll ever need.
The vendor says that PostSmile Free works with most popular e-mail clients, including Windows Vista Mail and Outlook, plus Web-based services like Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo Mail. According to the vendor, PostSmile also works with IM programs, forums, and blogs opened in Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, including MySpace and MSN.
It runs in your system tray, and when you want to add a smiley, bring up its window, and simply drag the smiley you want right into your post. There are dozens of them.
